Design an AI workflow to automate weekly data analysis and reporting for Riipen, delivering an analytics framework, tool evaluation, and educator update system.

Students in this course will participate in a hands-on ecological field project focused on the identification and assessment of vernal pools. Working in small teams, students will locate and map vernal pools, collect data on key physical characteristics (e.g., pool size, depth, hydroperiod, and surrounding habitat), and survey biological communities by identifying indicators and associated species within each pool. Using these field data, students will synthesize their findings into a written report and an oral presentation that will be shared with Tamarack to support ongoing conservation, management, and educational efforts related to vernal pool ecosystems.
