About the Role

At Tulfa Inc, we are looking for an experienced, customer obsessed graphic designer to lead all creative asset development for A+ content pages. They will use design as a way to drive skill discovery and raise the bar on our creative to create a world-class experience. Their work will be seen by millions of people each day across Amazon’s homepage, offline retail, social, direct mail, email, and mobile marketing channels. The graphic designer will work closely with cross-functional partners across the content team and must have a proven track record of effectively influencing up to senior management levels.

 

The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, has a strong bias for action, is detail oriented, and delivering results in an ambiguous environment. They are adept at collaborating with a variety of marketing stakeholders and responding professionally to feedback and direction change. They are comfortable prioritizing effectively in a fast-moving environment and communicating clearly and persuasively. They are able to identify and communicate a clear vision to a diverse group of stakeholders and drive ideas to completion. In addition to strong graphic design skills, a candidate must have strong strategic and systems thinking. They must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully present and defend their design decisions to senior leadership.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Obsess over customer experience, utilizing best practices for asset development, visual branding and storytelling, infographics and illustrations, online interactive and A+ content page 
  • Drive the development and communication of graphic design guidelines, patterns, and libraries 
  • Partner with insights and analytics teams to identify, understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies, ethnographic/retail studies) 
  • Develop and maintain a high level of strategic brand consistency across platforms 
  • Present and rationalize the work to business partners 
  • Work with Content Managers and Client team to provide end-to-end visual creative support 
  • Art Direction with internal content team 
  • Enhance the team knowledge of best design practices and trends in graphic design and digital marketing 
  • Work efficiently and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment 


What you’ll do? 

  • Creation of pure white background and measurement images in accordance with Amazon guidelines 
  • Make the images EBC ready by ensuring the correct dimensions and pixel quality 
  • Point out the features of the product in the images and use of lifestyle shots to match the content 
  • Use in-trend tools and photoshop techniques to enhance the visibility of the images 
  • Make product listings more scannable and provide the prospective buyers all the information they need to make a purchase 
  • Drive more traffic, increase conversion rate and magnify sales while build brand awareness 
  • Elaborate product and market research to identify the unique product features and benefits to highlight on brand’s EBC detail page 
  • Represent the client’s brand story, company guidelines, ethics and website through your designs 
  • Designing and choose the right EBC template that perfectly fits the product and its category 
  • Use of Amazon’s predesigned templates or create customized template to best represent the products 
  • Update, implement and manage all the aspects of content submission via seller central 
  • Provide constant assistance and editorial feedback to the team 
  • Create generic EBC content for all the parent-child ASINs and model variations 
  • Create the design and layout of EBC content for the whole of the client’s products

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite—specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop—on Windows 
  • Experience in basic design principles (typography, composition, scale, color theory, etc.) and knowledge of how those principles work together 
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create brand assets 
  • Experience of concepting and directing photo shoots and video shoots  
  • Knowledge of current internet marketplace trends and activities. Passion to work in an entrepreneurial and high growth environment.  
  • Impeccable of project management skills and is experienced at driving operational excellence in a digital environment. 
  • Product-minded design leadership with the confidence and ability to be a thought-partner to business leads and COO. 
  • Track record of translating product vision into actionable plans that lead to the creation of high-quality user experience and engagement. 
  • Expertise in conceptualizing ideas into design is crucial 
  • Keenness to ask questions, do research and understand the Product and target audience 
  • Expertise with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop along with working knowledge of Corel Draw 
  • Able to work under pressure with fast turnaround times
