Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The goal of this project is to create AutoCAD drawings for prototype production in solar PV panels and LED lighting products. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Analyzing existing designs and engineering drawings for solar PV panels and LED lighting.


- Developing AutoCAD drawings for associated products in solar LED lighting.


- Optimizing design performance and assessing areas for improvement.


- Research other variables that can improve the quality of the design.


- Accounting for additional variables in the AutoCAD drawings.


- Testing the designs and making improvements based on additional data.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of existing designs and engineering drawings for solar PV panels and LED lighting.


- Understanding of variables that affect the quality of design.


- Identification of areas for future improvement of the designs.


Bonus steps would include:


- Testing the designs with users and accounting for additional parameters.


Final deliverables should include:


- All source code.


- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.


How will you support learners in completing the project?

We believe in a remote hybrid work environment starting with weekly update meetings add an open-door policy for communication with senior management at any time within working hours.


We also allow you to work at your own daily time schedule as long as we all meet our agreed-upon deadlines. emails can be sent at any time and will be addressed the following work day.9-5. all VOIP calls will start on time at 830an for 30 minutes. to the one-hour maximum. 45 minutes if Zoom.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:


- AutoCAD design and engineering.


- Solar PV panel and LED lighting design.


- Optimization techniques.


- Researching and analyzing data.



Again, students can complete this project without any of the prior knowledge listed here. Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
