This is a Paid Internship / Co-Op. Employers interested in applying should provide compensation for the student - minimum $16.55/h per student (not financed by Level Up!). Please DO NOT APPLY if you cannot provide compensation.


Benefits to your company

Business Administration-Marketing students (individuals or teams) can:

• Develop an integrated marketing communication strategy for marketing products, concepts, goods, or services based on an identified target market

• Conduct primary and secondary market research to provide information needed to make marketing decisions

• Develop strategies to establish effective working relationships with clients, customers, consumers, coworkers, supervisors, and others

• Evaluate the viability of marketing products, concepts, goods, or services in an international market or markets

• Formulate and prepare a marketing plan including marketing objectives, marketing mix, marketing strategies, budgetary considerations, and evaluation criteria

• Integrate digital marketing and social media into a marketing plan with an understanding of various platforms and technologies

Deliverables

Students will deliver on their 3-5 Learning Outcome Objectives that were agreed upon before the Co-op/Internship commenced.

Project Examples

Student abilities include (not an exhaustive list):

1. Develop a marketing plan that will meet the needs or goals of a business or organization.

2. Develop an integrated marketing communication plan for marketing of a product, concept, good, or service based on an identified market need or target.

3. Determine strategies for the development of new and/or modified marketing concepts, products, goods, and/or services that respond to evolving market needs.

4. Determine strategies for the efficient and effective placement/distribution of a product, good, and/or service that respond to an evolving market.

5. Determine the impact of using different marketing strategies for a product, concept, good and/or service, on the finances, return on investment (ROI), and business goals of an organization.

*Students are available between May 6 - August 16, 2024 and require a total of 360 hours. Paid opportunities starting at minimum wage, unpaid available with restrictions.

Our students require an experienced mentor and mentorship program during their work term. Can you provide a mentor and/or mentorship program during the students work term?

Would you require the student to be working remote, on site or hybrid?

I understand that this co-op requires me to provide a work placement for a student that will provide them with 360 hours of work over the assigned semester dates.

Compensation MUST be provided by the employer (minimum $16.55/h per student - not Level Up financed). How much would you be able to provide in terms of compensation?
