Our program offers bachelor's and associate degrees, and specialty certificates in corporate law, criminal law, litigation, and legal technology. The Paralegal Studies program is approved by the American Bar Association and National University is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

IMPORTANT:

National University offers monthly term starts, allowing students to commence their projects approximately every 4 weeks. Most students will complete their required hours in 8-12 weeks. The university welcomes projects on a rolling basis. Once your project is accepted, we will match you with a student as soon as the next cohort becomes available.

Deliverables

Our Paralegal and Pre-Law students will supply valuable support to the law firm or legal organization. Benefits our students may provide include:

  • Salary savings;
  • Valuable assistance on projects to enable employees to work on other matters;
  • An investment in your future success by discovering new talent (it also gives the potential employer a chance to “test drive” a prospective employee);
  • A fresh outlook on procedures and new ideas on plans, strategies, and policies;
  • Direct access to recent developments in technology;
  • The opportunity to mentor future legal professionals.

According to a recent study from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Internship and Co-Op Report, 57.6% of interns converted to full-time employees.

  • Performing an array of administrative tasks, such as filing and organizing papers, maintaining and tracking various deadlines, documents, and information, interviewing clients, and gathering evidence;
  • Focusing on the laws and processes that apply to the particular proceedings;
