Details

The project involves creating HR processes for the BC Therapeutic Riding Association as they transition from a working board to hiring their first employee (Executive Director hired May 2026 on contract - need to add admin/comms and bookkeeping help). The focus will be on developing best practices for interviewing and recruitment to attract top talent for part-time roles. Additionally, the project will address onboarding strategies to ensure new hires are set up for success.

Training and development plans will be crafted to support ongoing employee growth, incorporating change management strategies like the CARE and ADKAR models. This will help in fostering a positive organizational culture as the association expands its team. The project will be completed by a team of learners specializing in HR management.
