Students of the College of New Caledonia helped the 1000 Towns of Canada to launch six unique pages of towns in BC. It was an amazing job. We hope for collaboration in the future

Working with College of New Caledonia (CNC) was such a pleasure. The professor was always available to answer any questions quickly. The 4 students that worked on my little B&B were amazing & patient & kind.

Fabulous experience working with the College and students. Although socially distanced and virtual it was great to do project-based work with teams of students focused on important destination development work for the North. We look forward to future projects that will enhance the overall market readiness and strengthen the industry for future growth.

CNC teams created digital content about BC small towns for 1000 Towns of Canada. They worked creatively, with enthusiasm and in time. Thanks a lot for the project. The new town pages will be launched soon on 1000towns.ca.

The college of New Caledonia and their students and administrators and teachers are easy and fast to work with. Not much fuss and have a “can do attitude “. I would suggest however a bit more communication to check if the students are in the right track and or I there needs to be some steering in the right direction. It was a pleasure to work with them!

This project hasn’t been started?

I think the Tourism & Hotel Management Practicum Placement is a great opportunity for businesses to get in contact with CNC and what it has to offer. Being able to get students to work on specific assignments and seeking knowledge that isn't necessary in place at the businesses, is a good option.

These College has resourceful, creative and highly skilled program preparing students for real-life industry expectations. A pleasure to work with!
