What can our learners do for your company?

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from City, University of London to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing and are seeking 3 month individual projects from June - September, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.

Student placements will only occur virtually.

What would your company get at the end of this experience?

Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project. However, these deliverables must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the project.

Project Examples

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.

Students in this program are poised to succeed in the integrated work areas of:

  • Civil Engineering Structures
  • Project Management, Finance and Risk
  • Renewable Energy and Power Systems Management
  • Robotics, AI and Autonomous Systems
  • Advanced Mechanical Engineering
  • Energy and Environmental Technology and Economics
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Maritime Operations and Management
  • Maritime Safety and Security Management Engineering with Cloud Computing
