online communication psychologyLooking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from University of Stirling to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Students in this program are looking for projects that should increase their understanding of psychology in a work context. Because psychology graduates go into many different areas, it is very flexible. The undergraduate work placement program involves pairing an undergraduate placement student with a host organisation, under the supervision of a mentor from that organisation.
Students are required to complete 50 hours of placement between October and April (when in that time the hours done are very flexible).
Projects can be conducted in person or remotely, or a combination of the two. Projects can be completed by an individual student or a team of students.
Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the internship. However, these deliverables must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the internship.

Project Examples
Students will complete a project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.
Project activities that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- befriending
- organising events
- creating outreach materials
- contributing to business plans
- creating a social media campaign to increase awareness of your organisation or product
- testing products or service in the design phase
- client and service users survey
- data analysis
- literature reviews and report writing
