This experience is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world business challenges by engaging learners in practical projects across key business functions: Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain & Operations Management. Learners, equipped with foundational knowledge and analytical skills, will collaborate to apply their insights to industry-specific projects. By working on these projects, learners will help companies streamline processes, optimize resources, and enhance strategic decision-making.


Employers in Ontario may be eligible for the Ontario Co-op Tax Credit, up to 25% of expenses.

    A position should only be offered to a co-op student if there is the expectation that regular work will be available for the entire work term (approximately 12-16 weeks), and employers must be able to provide students with a minimum of 12 weeks, and 300-420+ hours of work per four-month work term.  *

    The employer will hire the student as a temporary employee, disclosing the pay rate at the time of posting the position.  *
  • Q3 - Checkbox
    Since co-op students are temporary employees on the employer’s payroll, they become part of the employer’s complement for WSIB purposes.  *

    The employer will provide appropriate training and support for the student as a typical new employee.  *

    The student will be provided with productive work assignments related to their college program major.  *
