Learner goals and capabilities

A group of four student-consultants will produce a comprehensive strategic analysis for your organization with respect to the U.S. sport and recreation industry.

Expected outcomes and deliverables
  • Written report (4,000 words) outlining research findings, competitive analysis, and implications for your organization
  • 12-15 min presentation with Q&A

Project Examples

Starting in September, a team of 4 student-consultants will spend a total of 120 hours analyzing the internal and external environment surrounding your company. They will outline a strategic plan on how your organization can develop a competitive advantage to grow your businesses based on the factors uncovered during the research process.

Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying new channels or partners that can help grow you business.
  • Identifying new market segments.
  • Evaluating your organization's capabilities to execute strategic change.
  • Competitive and external analysis of your industry and the implications on your business.
Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be able to provide information about your organization to the students, including financial information. NDAs can be signed.

Be responsive to periodic emails from the students to answer any questions they may have.
