ABOUT COMPANY Who We Are: A coalition of organizations and practitioners committed to diversity, equity and inclusion within our organizations and society. What We Do: We provide resources, advocacy, networking, and webinars for dialogues across differences to promote inclusion. How We Serve: We serve as allies for those who feel marginalized and advocates for inclusive policies and practices. PROJECT SCOPE Global Map: to create an interactive map using the Global Advocacy Research outputs, which will appear on the IAC website. This person must have skills sets in web design, have a visual creative “eye” in creating an aesthetically pleasing presentation of the research content. For example, when one clicks on a region or country of the world map, a menu might appear listing the various dimensions of diversity, and when one clicks on any one dimension of diversity the issues related to that dimension would appear. Digital Global Map Template Construction 1. Design, develop interactive digital global map template: Student(s) will build digital map template to include all seven continents, including all countries recognize by the United Nations. 2. Each country’s details must include at least the name of the country and a well-defined border outlining its geographical footprint within its continent. 3. All countries shall be illustrated using contrasting colors between boarding nations for ease of viewing and identification. 4. The map template file selected by the student should be the most flexible and/or usable file format for sharing across multiple platforms. 5. Final digital product must be flexible enough to be edited with ongoing new information. 6. End users of the Global map will be diversity, equity, and inclusion professionals seeking information of various regions and countries. The idea is that this map will serve as a quick “one stop” resource for diversity professionals to gain rapid insights as to the kinds of impacts that different nations around the world face in reference to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 7. (Not a requirement) However, if time and information are available the final step of the template creation would be the insertion of global national diversity, equity, and inclusion data to be inserted into the map template. This work must be completed by the end of March 2022.
